does freedom have a really good add a line deal going on right now?
Main Post:
I remember a few years ago I switched to freedom and got a good prepaid plan. Then added my mom to the plan for $10/month for 1gb data on a add a line promotion. She loves it because she doesn't use much data and that $10 price tag is SO good. Does anyone know if freedom still has that? Need to get it for another family member

They have a $20/3GB (w/digital discount) deal right now for add a line w/unlimited talk and text, that would be the best add a line offer atm.
How about adding deals where you sell cards in exchange for gold? Would that help fixing the game economy a little bit?

Why was it a big deal that Saul ran the TV add?
Main Post:
The title pretty much explains my question. But why where they upset about the TV add? How will it ruin their reputation? Is it illegal? I've seen plenty of lawyer adds on tv in real life. Besides the guy, one of the main guys from Davis and Main, said that they have ran an add before.
Top Comment:
I think it was more the fact he did it w/o explicit approval. Saul could tell at the outset he would never get his vision past a panel of editors.

Popeye's "Deal of the Day" > $1.29 Side Add-ons?
Main Post:
"Deal of the Day" Question:
Here in Canada, Popeye's offers the "Deal of the Day" with the option to add-a-side "for $1.29 each"...
Most locations allow customers like myself who order the daily deal to add a regular soft drink for $1.29 and another side like mac and cheese for another $1.29
BUT a few locations do not allow this > charging the customer $1.29 for the first side add-on, and then full price $2.29 for the second side
The terms and conditions of the Daily Deal listed on the promo sign in the window are very brief and seem open to interpretation from my reading
Any customer thoughts and experiences regarding my specific pricing question?
Top Comment: Deal of the day has always included a drink in my experience but not sure about the extra sides.
Are there any deals that DON’T require a new line or upgrading to a more expensive data plan?
Main Post:
Been looking to upgrade my parents’ phones, as they are both on the iPhone 6 and I want to get them newer iPhones. And there’s some great deals on the Verizon website but seemingly all of them require you to either add a new line of service or upgrade to one of the more expensive data plans. Am I missing any phone upgrades that don’t have this requirement, and are just a straight up deal? It’s kinda unfortunate that Verizon doesn’t respect their loyal customers of greater than 20 years enough to have some deals for them too.
Top Comment: All of the wireless carriers work this way. Cellular service is no longer a luxury but a utility at this point no different than your electricity bill.
